Our History, Our Work

Prior to forming Kind Souls, Inc., we as coworkers and friends, found  ourselves working together to raise money to provide assistance to a nationwide cancer non-profit. We saw the need in our community that revolved around medical "storms". We came to realize a local non-profit organization could do more to help within our community.

Since forming Kind Souls, Inc. in August, 2018, we have helped raise money to help individuals withing our county. Our first efforts included

• Raising $1,300 to purchase a portable Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) for a Moore County High School Track team.

• Providing meals to a family whose caregiver was temporarily disabled.

• Giving $1,000 college scholarship to a student with a brain tumor.

• Providing monetary donations to help with travel to and from appointments.

• Hosting a Buddy Drive to support local children's emotional needs. 

Kind Souls, Inc. was born from a passion to make a difference in the lives of those who are experiencing a dark medical storm in their lives. We believe that everybody needs to know that somebody cares for them and that they are never alone. Their storm may be raging, and they may feel the darkness, but Kind Souls, Inc. wants to be a light that helps restore theirs. 

Like the story of the boy throwing starfish back into the sea, we might not be able to help everyone, but we can make a difference in the lives of those people we are able to reach.
